The constant drone of the waterfall was all the noise Isis needed to carry on. So far she had covered most the territory in a single morning. The older female stared down at the pure white curtain of water as it plummeted to the depths of the mountain. Colors darted and spun around in the water near the shallows. Grey slate covered the banks, stray rocks were strewn in the lake and on the ground around it. Pebbles crumbled under the lanky fae's paws as she stood at the edge. Her ears pointed forward as the heard the gentle plink of the water under the waterfall's roar. Isis huffed to herself quietly as she turned to the pathway down to the bottom of the cliff face. The perches were precarious and would require strength to get down to the bottom without dying, but that was okay. Isis stared down at the clear blue waters, breathing in the thin mountain air.

Nightshade slowly walked out of his camp's border and out into his territory. The mountain air was fresh and crisp from the cold air from being high up. Yawning and stretching, Nightshade started to head down the mountain. His markings glowing in the sun and moving along with his fur. He wasnt in the mood to hunt at the moment. Just in the mood to get a drink and to walk around before heading back. As he walked, he heard the sound of the waterfall getting louder. He loved the sound of the waterfall when he was a pup and still does. He remembers playing in the water as he grew up. As he got closer, he laid down and started to lap up the water. It was cold and froze his mouth but he continued to drink. His throat getting the better of it as it cooled down. His ears perked up when he heard movement coming down. Lifting his head, he looked up and saw Isis slowly walking down. He admired the wolf for she is a hard worker. He looks down at her like she was his kin. He always treated her and the rest of the pack like kin. Waiting for her to safely reach the main ground, he sat up and looked at her. "Good morning Isis. How are you on this wonderful morning?" He asked as he looked at her.

Isis, such the name of an Egyptian goddess. This wolf, was anything but the goddess of compassion and motherhood. All grey and brown hues smothered her pelt, her eyes of the same colors and hardened like the walls of this waterfall. Carefully, the hardened wolf made her way down the cliff face. Moss grew on many rocks, slick with spray from the waterfall. A slight mist hung around and clung to Isis’s pelt. At a mere five meters height, she leaped down to the mountain floor, landing with practiced grace. Pebbles crumbled from her last perched and skittered along the ground behind her. At Nightshade’s appearance, Isis forced a smile. It was hard to be so blatantly harsh to a leader-wolf, and one so kindly. His eyes glinted in the sunshine of the early morning. It was strange… how he treated a wolf like her with such admiration and kinship. Surely, it had to be hard. Isis flicked her tail and sat down on the damp banks of the lake.
”Nightshade." She answered him quietly, dipping her head in respect and letting the smile fall. ”The same as always.”
This time the grin and slight wave of the tail wasn’t intended. Nightshade was one of the few wolves, Isis could get along with peacefully. Quickly sobering, the female rose to her paws and stretched her lanky frame.
”I suppose there’s more work to be done?”
The strain of work was good to Isis. Less time for the mind to wander. It was more efficient than wandering all day and being about as useless as any one of the vibrant flowers sitting on the cliff face. Isis shook the dampness from her pelt and yawned, before looking back to Nightshade and waiting for his answer.

"You can join me hunting if you like Isis." Nightshade said as he looked at her. He has always admire Isis when she first joined. She showed will power and courage. And he knows that you need to have courage to hunt these mountains with narrow edges and all that. Moving his neck slightly, he felt his bones cracking from stretching. From the angle he has been sleeping in, it was taking an affect on him. Standing up, he turned around and started to walk off. He knows that Isis will follow him so he wasn't going to bother to look around. As he walked, he felt the air cooling his face as it hit him. The scent of the earth and water drifted through the air, creating a soothing vapor. He knows that their Mother Wolf of Earth was well and happy. The mountains were full of life to help support his tribe. His markings moving with his fur as he walked and from the wind. Turning around, he looked back at Isis, wondering what she was thinking about when he arrived. Moving his eyes, he looked at the waterfall, admiring its beauty and how it has been there for generations. Turning his head back around, he started to walk off again to look for prey for his tribe.

Axis sat down on the hard, but smooth stone he was constantly treading on. "Well, today is a pretty boring day. If I'll ever become strong like the original Axis, I'll have to train harder." He mumbled quietly, thinking about the Axis in World War two. 'I'm sure they weren't all that bad, maybe they just... had a secret cause. That nobody knew about, maybe it was just a few hundred people that were bad' Axis thought to himself. Nobody was purely evil, if they were pure evil they would have destroyed the world completely. Boom. End of the world. The thought made him shiver, the Axis hadn't thought of this ever, right? Destroying the world was just plain stupid. Who would ever think about destroying the world? They would have killed all the innocent animals if they had destroyed the world....
Well, now to more important matters then him thinking about the situation. The Axis and hunting for the pack were both important, but he didn't want to waste time thinking about that. He then began to sniff the air. Trying to detect the smell of prey, any prey possible.
words ; Meh. I don't feel like counting, and if there is a way to count them with a generator, I don't know about it. muse ; Terrible. This just took, what? Five minutes? notes ; Sorry if this is private, I won't respond if it is. Dx

Isis dipped her head and waited for her Alpha to lead the way. Forever respectful. The breeze was chilled but the sun shone down and it hardly mattered. Nightshade turned and started off, the loyal she-wolf followed, her eyes darting around and her nose lowered to catch the slightest scent of prey. It was all old scents, the odd rabbit and maybe a squirrel. Nothing had been in this particular spot for a while though. Raising her muzzle to taste the air, Isis stiffened. She smelled another wolf. He held the scent of a Mountain Wolf, but Isis hadn’t met him. Just in case he was a loner, she crept forward to Nightshade’s side.
”There’s someone else here Nightshade."
