Blue
How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core, Where I've become so numb. Without a soul, my spirit sleeping somewhere cold, Until you find it there and lead it back home...
.xXx. There was something so oddly comforting; so unexplainably beautiful, about a silence such as this. The black she-wolf’s ears swivelled forwards, perking up to take in the sounds of the wilderness around her eagerly, pausing her little trek in order to do so. The silence she thought of was not that of true silence, as there was, indeed, sound. Just not sound she considered as noise, per say. Blue considered these noiseless sounds beautiful; ones of nature. While the noise others made, such as speaking and snarling, that was noise. Here, in a place so completely deserted, she was safe. From what, might you ask? Her mind, her fear; everything. This dark and brooding forest captivated the small female in ways she couldn’t even decipher; as did most things. Most thought of such a dense forest to be frightening; the trees looming overhead to be a sign, warning others not to venture further. Some might have thought of this certain wood to be exactly that, a wood. Nothing more; nothing less.
It was a good thing Blue found the beauty within everything.
The small, ebony wolf padded silently along the forest floor, her paws sinking into the moist ferns beneath her. Her tail, swaying delicately from side to side, stayed close to her body, as her head fell to align with her rotating shoulder blades, wonder and delight displayed within the depths of her stunningly blue eyes. Her gaze lingered along the thick trunks around her, the rough bark that protected them, and the life using them for survival. Blue tilted her head up, just slightly, to observe a bird building a nest above her, causing a small smile to spread across her maw. She would only grace the world around her with a smile; never a stranger. Blue was never open to others, to be undeniably honest. She closed herself off; guarded herself with a sense of knowing and protective nature. She would not be weak, and to the femme, if another were to break past her little outer shell, she would be exactly that.
Weak. Injured. Dead.
A soft, barely audible sigh slipped past the female’s lips as she continued walking forwards, her eyes dragging along the ground, picking up details. She walked with a certain air of elegance and composure, her expression blank, though soft. Soft, but never tender. Blue had convinced herself long ago she would no longer look tenderly towards another. For, to be tender was to show emotion. And emotion was yet another harsh weakness. It took Blue to go against her welcoming instincts, to stay what she thought counted as safe. The female paused abruptly then, one paw hovering poised above ground in mid-step, as the snapping of a twig a few meters away caught her attention. Her entire body froze, within seconds, nostrils quivering to take in the scent of a possible threat. Her mind processed the situation, the escape routes, everything. She figured the animal wasn’t large, due to the weak snap, though obviously bigger then a squirrel or mouse. Rabbit? Blue inhaled, her chest expanding to the slightest, before she slowly lowered her head back to an offensive position. She had been right, and because of the aching in her stomach, the female figured it was time she put an innocent life to an end, for her own sake. She paused, just momentarily, before leaping into a sprint, her hind quarters pushing her forwards with unbelievable speed. When one was to take a look at the startlingly small, ebony female, they would not think of her to be quick. Blue tended to surprise others with a lot of things. The female raced forwards, legs working beneath her perfectly, until she saw a little, brown rabbit spring from a group of bushes and take off. She narrow her eyes to the slightest, in pure concentration, before accelerating.
Within moments, the female had caught up to the fleeting rabbit, and bent her head down in one fluid motion, plucking the mammal from the ground. It squealed; a sound that always saddened her, before Blue pressed down harshly with her jaws, causing the animal to go limp in her grasp. She lowered her head to place the rabbit on the ground silently, before sighing, and shaking herself. She couldn’t feel guilty for such things; they were her nature. Blue leaned down and carefully grabbed a piece of flesh from the rabbit, before swallowing with ease. Her ears fell to a neutral position on her head, relaxation finally setting in while the female ate.
Relaxing at any time: Her first mistake.

Such sweet silence greeted the ears of Eclipse, the great wolf padding towards his favorite spot. Such an air of mystery hung over this land as cannot be avoided; He had to come and look whenever he passed by, to and from his sister's territory. To others, this was a forbidden place, a place to keep away from, to run from, a place where the evil, dark-of-heart came for respite. Though Eclipse knew the truth. This was where the foolish met their demise at the hands of the Father Wolf of Nothing.
The large brute walked with unnatural scilence, not even his paws hitting the ground made a sound. To others, it would be rather eerie. To Eclipse, this was home, among the dead leaves and treeless plain that surrounded the Silent Forest. The great woolf took a deep breath, filling his nose with all the natural scents of decay and neglect. However, once scent stuck out to him. A female wolf-scent, very fresh, headed toward the forest. Fool. Does she not know the land on which she treads? The cunning deciet with which it lures in careless travellers, never to be heard of again?
Eclipse strode carefully closer, senses alert to even the slightest call of the forest. It always grew stronger when another has slipped into it's forgetful embrace, he knew from his many experiments. Leading others into the forest, just to see if the rumors where true.. yes, Eclipse did do that. Though he long ago ended those experiments. Until now, he had been the only remaining loner, and besides, he had learned what he wanted to know. Those who entered, never came back out alive.
Before long, a distinct shape formed near the forest's edge. The fae was blakc, with blue eyes, and if it where not for her lack for markings, Eclipse would have sworn it was Shadow, out to examine possible new territory. An ominous wind sprung up, pushing Eclipse gently toward the forest, sprinign a longing in his heart. He wanted to walk on past the fae, keep on walking into the depths of the forest, never to return to this world.
Shaking his head, Eclipse forced himself to stop directly in front of the fae, his crimson eyes locking with her blue ones. Ah, such pretty eyes for a wolf to have. Much more attractive, too, than his sister's icy gaze. "One should not stray too close to this particular forest, madam, lest one finds themself drawn into it's ebony depths," He murmered, voice holding it's usual charm, but he left out his usual foxy charm, whcih he usually used on females. He didn't feel like it, not now. His eyes looke back towards the forest, ears perked, as his heart filled with longing.

Blue
How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core, Where I've become so numb. Without a soul, my spirit sleeping somewhere cold, Until you find it there and lead it back home...
.xXx. The female observed in silence as her prey’s eyes glazed over with the shear sign of death, its final breath leaving the body with a little moan of agony. She did feel bad, within the depths of her mind, no matter how desperately she tried to push the looming guilt away. It was close to impossible, however, she did try to convince herself it was only her nature. If she didn’t get the nutrients her body needed, she would surely perish. And Blue had decided long ago, that she was one to put up a fight for her survival. She was determined, and would therefore not let the guilt of feeding get to her. She was a carnivore; it was her place on the planet. Blue blinked a few times, attempting to clear her mind of any negative thought, before reclining onto her haunches, and lowering his head towards the small carcass to finish her meal. The meat tasted sweet on her tongue, and Blue felt her hunger slowly diminish with each swallow. Within minutes the female had finished most of the meal, and her tongue flickered out to run along her chops lightly, in effort to free herself of any dried blood there. She didn’t intend to look like any sort of monster.
Blue sighed softly, the sound escaping her parted lips, before her ears perked towards the sudden noise of someone approaching. Blue froze, her previously-relaxed position taking a turn into a more defensive, startled one. Her facial expression, however, spoke of something different. It was completely blank; grave, if anything. Simply... Questioning. Her crystalline eyes trained on the male as he made his appearance, walking towards her before coming to a slow halt, feet from her. Blue’s ears twitched, one flickering behind her momentarily, before facing him again, as she observed him. He was large, much more so compared to herself, and had insightful yet dangerous dark, crimson eyes. Strange for a wolf, though Blue wasn’t judging.
She never did.
The female inhaled, though not so deeply as for him to notice, and continued to watch him in silence. It was what she did; observe. Blue was the type of canine that could read others like books, when given the right amount of time to do so. His eyes connected fearlessly with hers, and Blue felt her instincts screaming at her to break eye contact. She wouldn’t be weak; she wouldn’t listen. The female stayed seated, her knowing eyes searching through the depths of his own. It was an easy enough task, to get information from his eyes. They told her much of what she needed, to identify this male as friend or foe. It was at that moment when the male decided to speak, catching her completely off guard. She froze, her breath hitching in her throat, before she forced herself to relax. He seemed nice, for the most part.
Sadly, Blue knew not everything was as it seemed.
His voice was very masculine, hushed, but full of charm. Not the charm that spoke of sexual interest like most males, but a generally, charismatic, charm. She listened easily, running his words through her mind several times, processing each and every possible meaning. He seemed harmless, as did the words, though Blue would be sure to tread lightly. She didn’t want any possible trouble. The female’s gaze followed his own as he looked towards the forest beyond them, an overly noticeable longing within the depths of his odd eyes. Blue rose to her feet, into a standing position, her tail pulled close into her body. Not so much as to seem submissive, but enough of an action to say she wanted no trouble, nor was she looking to be seen as any threat.
“You speak to warn me of the pull towards the forest’s core, when truly, you are the one that should be warned.”
She spoke softly, her voice very soft and velvety. Blue’s words were harmless, certainly not meaning to be taken as an insult, though she wouldn’t be able to entirely predict the male’s reaction. Blue always had a ‘knack,’ per say, at knowing things about others, even they didn’t realize. It came from her skill at reading the body language and expression, of another. One, when in the she-wolf’s presence, often got wary because she tended to act as if she knew more then she should. Blue was too observant for the comfort of most, however it was something she needed dearly. Slightly softened eyes trained over the large male, as her head tilted, just slightly, curiosity showing in her facial features.
“Also, I go by Blue.”
She spoke, her voice flowing along the wind easily, before speaking once again.
“Madam is often a name given to those of a high class, much unlike myself.”
Blue smiled, though it was a smile lacking any tenderness or warmth beneath it. Simply a sign to show him she was comfortable, to the slightest. Because, honestly?
As long as Blue was in someone’s company, she would never be comfortable.
Without thought, without voice, without a soul, Don't let me die here. There must be something more, Bring me to life...

Eclipse's crimson ears swivelled to catch the fae's-Blue's- words. Hir voice aws quiet, but he could just faintly catch a tone of mistrust, insecurity. Not that it was very surprising, seeing as most all loners had some deep, dark past. Something like that was unusual, though he had to admit, he was surprised she didn't go off on him like that lone island fae. She was a strange one, this Blue.
He yanked his gaze from the forest, an act that required much self-control, for one so called for as he. He looked again at Blue, eyes holding soft, mild amusement. "You're wrong about that. I've been here many, many times. It's more my home than any other place, even the tribe to which I was born. This forest calls to those who tread too closely. To speak truthfully, I really shouldn't be this close. The more I come and then go free, the more the forest beacons. And what goes in, never comes out. I've seen many walk in, but never the marks that show their retreat." He carefully left out the fact that he was the one who led them to the forest, chasing them into it's dark immensity. She'd surely hate him after that, if she didn't already. He had no way of knowing if she had heard of his many massacures, in which he was sent but Shadow to kill. His brother, too. He had no way of knowing if she knew about that. It would have been bad enough if he said his sister commanded it, but when he did it willingly, without her orders... He truly was a monster. He blinked his eyes slowly, the only sign that he was in pain, sorrowful.
He looked back to Blue, pushing his doubts to the back of his mind. Now, when he was in the company of another, was not the time to think things over. It's best to leave that for another time. "Madam is a title worthy for any fae, high of rank or not. Such a title is a sign of respect for another living being," He commented lightly, tail beggining to twitch. It often did so whenever he was nervous, which wasn't very often. Still, the ever-strengthening pull of the forest was taking it's toll. His paws moved slightly, as if they where trying to take him to the forest themselves.
"May we take this conversation a bit farther away?" He asked, walking away, a bit too quickly for his liking. He hated showing weakness, but the danger of staying this close to the Father Wolf's domain was too great, he had to back off if he wished to stay in this world. As he walked, though, helooked back over his shoulder. He wasn't going to leave, but he wished to know if she would follow, contenuing that breif moment of companionship. He stopped about 50 yards away, looking back from where he came. Would she follow, and speak to him again? Would she be wise and take him for the monster he was, and run?

.xXx. Light, pale, crystalline blue eyes trained on the ebony brute before her, as he wrenched his gaze from the forest’s core; an act in which seemed to take an oddly large amount of both willpower and self-control. Blue could tell this by the longing within his eye’s amber depths; the way he literally had to force his gaze away from the irresistible pull of the dense forest. Blue did, indeed, feel a pull, although it was ignorable, and not nearly as bad as the male before her. Was it possible he’d come here before, maybe even... several times? Blue wasn’t entirely sure. She figured it was either that, or the forest simply affected everyone differently. Blue decided, on the verge of confusion, that she would no longer bother herself with such a topic again. It was then, however, the male spoke, proving her first theory as correct. Her ears perked and swivelled towards him, as if eagerly drinking in his very masculine, informative voice. She nodded after he’d finished speaking, letting the words run through her head. He’d been here often, hence why the pull was so intense. That did mean he should stay further from the forest, shouldn’t it? Blue returned her eyes to his own easily, slight curiosity shining within their depths. It was then it dawned on her. He had said he’d watched many venture into the forest, and never saw signs of them returning. Blue’s eyes wandered towards the forest’s core, before looking back towards the large male. “Did you try to stop them?” Blue spoke simply, a brow rising, just slightly, in question. Her eyes ran over his features slowly, attempting to dissect and observe his expression as thoroughly as she could. It was hard for some to lie to Blue, for this exact reason. She paid attention to the nervous habits some wolves developed, as well as the way an emotion could affect one’s voice, no matter how hard they tried to resist it. She was in-tune with each and every movement of the wolf she focuses on, and would relentlessly observe them, until she felt the deed was done. Call her odd, if you wish. But to Blue, it was as much for entertainment as it was for survival. It was then, shortly following his statement, Blue caught the sight of sorrow and pain, within his eyes. The slow way he blinked, as if trying to clear away the emotion, only proved her point. He was suffering, though from what Blue had yet to discover. Maybe she would find out, within time. It was then the brute spoke, once again, and she was vitally aware of the lightness of his comment, as he tried to correct her. The female smiled, nothing more than the slight curve of her lips, as she watched him. “Well, I suppose we can agree to disagree then, hmn?” She inquired lightly, her voice still in that hushed, light tone it always stayed in. Close to tender, though not entirely so, to sound affectionate. Blue was also aware of the fact he may have implied the fact he respected her, though decided not to comment. His tail twitched, in what Blue considered to be an act of either anticipation, anxiety, or nervousness. She doubted it had to do with herself, and therefore concluded the pull of the forest was, actually, abnormally strong when it came to the male before her. His paws shuffled, shifting in yet another sig to prove her theory. It was clear to Blue that it would be in their best interest to move further away, unless she wanted to see him take off towards the Forest’s core. It was at that moment the male spoke, not even giving her a chance to answer, before he started to walk off. Blue stood still for a few moments, knowing very well she would happily accompany him. Her eyes ran over his body briefly, discreetly admitting that he was a rather attractive male, before mentally scolding herself. She was female, this was true. But she had no reason, whatsoever, to have any interest in another male. He would just hurt her in the end. Break her. Blue’s brow furrowed, just momentarily, before she trotted up to him, with almost unimaginable grace. Her movements were smooth, and she nodded to his earlier question in silent answer, before continuing to walk further off with him. Blue was careful, however, to keep a few feet away from him. Just a precaution, of course. Males were capable of anything, and Blue was not one to fall victim any time soon. After a few moments of silence, the female turned her head towards him, blue eyes once again filled with question. “You never told me your name.” She stated simply, her expression soft, yet entirely neutral. Unreadable. That was how Blue liked to keep it. And that was certainly how she intended to keep it. Without thought, without voice, without a soul, Don't let me die here. There must be something more, Bring me to life...

Eclipse stood alone for a bit, before the fae followed him. He had to allow himself the tiniest twitch of the mouth, the only sign of a smile he gave. If she caught this, she might believe that he had some darker intentions, but it was as close to a true smile that he had come to in a long, long time. Still, he couldn't help but feel regret that she didn't run while she had the chace. Consorting with his sort would end only in tragety.
"To answer your earlier question," He said calmly, red eyes cautious, "No, I did not. For a few reasons. First, every wolf is entitled to his own folly. Second, how would their tribes and families know to steer clear of this land if wolves did not go missing?" He looked away now, slightly ashamed of how utterly honest hw was being. How many times had Shadow warned him against the truth? "Lastly... They all knew who I was, and they would only do the oppisite of what I said. Therefore, I was giving them a slight chance of surviving by keeping my nose out of it." He looked back, hoping to gaudge her reaction. Though by what he had observed so far, she showed as little emotion as he did. Which made it infuriatingly difficult to judge what exactly she was thinking. With others, it was easy, even with Shadow. You could always tell when she was planning something. Though that was not the case with this Blue. She kept the same endearing expression on her face, not quite affection, but softer than what others veiwed him with. It was refreshingly different. Too bad it was not to last.
When she asked for his name, he steeled himself. No matter what she'd do or say, he'd stad firm. It was the only way to survive, to be stronger than the next wolf, both mentally and physically. He drained all emotion from his crimson eyes, looking her dead in the eye with his usual deadly-killer expression that he reserved for upsetting occasions. "My name is Eclipse, former Alpha of the Tribe of Darkness."

.xXx. Blue wasn’t at all unintelligent; she could see the smothered darkness, within the large ebony male. Even as he stood, waiting for her to follow in behind him, there was a sort of... dangerous tint, to his otherwise inviting smile. To trust him, or not trust him? Blue paused, her eyes running over his resilient form. Obviously, the answer was no. Though, Blue knew she didn’t have to trust him, to follow after him. The female’s ears twitched as she stood, back and forth, alert of the sounds around her. There was an unidentified rustling feet through he thick brush, though nothing she had to fear. But, the male... should she fear him? Was he possibly more dangerous then what might be lurking within the depths of the shadows surrounding her? Blue wasn’t sure. But she couldn’t push down her curiosity which gnawed at her more savagely, with each and every passing moment. Blue’s head lowered, instinctively, though not to a degree that would make her come across at all submissive, before trailing after him. Her tail stayed close to her body, though not quite tucked between her legs, and her ears continued to twitch sporadically. She would always be looking for an escape route; a sign that he would turn on her. For, everyone she seemed to know did. They would get close to her, earn a place in her heart, only before ripping away so mercilessly, leaving her to clean up the mess. The mess that was her shattered trust, herself, her heart. Blue was used to these things; the inability to depend on others. This male was no different. She would simply stay with him until she felt satisfied enough to leave, and then would probably never see him again. It was how it usually went, these meetings. Blue secretly despised not letting herself get close to anyone, though she knew it was for the better. It had to be. It was at that moment, when Blue was so entirely lost in thought, when the male decided to speak up. She supposed she should be thankful, though wasn’t quite sure if the male deserved any thanks from her, yet. Blue didn’t quite... understand him, quite yet. Maybe that would come later, maybe it wouldn’t. Blue’s ears swivelled in his direction as he spoke, her eyes staying firmly on the ground before her. Her expression was blank, soft, but blank, as she looked ahead of her. His words seeped into her easily, and once again, even after he’d finished, a silence enveloped them. He’d let wolves descend into the forest; surely to their death. Without doing anything at all about it. Was this little fact something in which Blue would hold against him? No. Was it useful, to gather information about him, as well as his character? Certainly. The female looked back towards him, only to catch him glancing away from her, in what seemed to be in a rather ashamed manner. She could tell that he’d done worse; his eyes, let alone words, spoke of wretched deeds. But Blue never judged anyone, no, she believe everyone deserved a chance. A chance at what, might you ask? A chance at bettering themselves, at proving everyone wrong. Whatever it was, Blue accepted. She would never judge a being, within the first meeting. Only after she got what details she needed, would she make a judgement. “I understand your reasoning.” Blue said simply, giving a slight, brief nod, as her eyes returned ahead of her. She had said only that to assure him that she was making no haste to leave, nor was she afraid. She attempted to let him know, with a few small words, that she wasn’t judging him, like most may. Blue’s attention was once again grabbed, as her audits drank in his masculine voice. She paid attention to his wording, the way he said how others knew who he was, and would only do opposite of what he said. Did this mean he wasn’t to be trusted? Did this mean... He really was a feared male? Blue knew there was a side to him of danger, though there was also other side’s she had seem to him, in such a short time. He had even seen ashamed, at one point. Though was that all an act? Was the male simply playing her? Blue nodded briefly towards his words, entirely unsure of how to respond. “Others view you negatively, don’t they?” She asked softly, before taking a moment to explain her earlier thinkings. “If one were to carry out the opposite action, from what you were to have suggested, then that would mean others view you as not worthy of trust... Dangerous... A liar...” Blue spoke softly, his brow furrowing, just to the slightest. “Is it true?” The female directed her gaze towards him, her own crystalline orbs eagerly digging through his. “Are most wolves frightened of you?” She asked finally, keeping steady eye-contact with him, until feeling as though her invading on the privacy of his emotions may be taken into offense. The eyes were like a window into another’s soul; into their emotions. But Blue wrenched her gaze from his, before looking ahead of her once more. She didn’t need the answer so desperately. Or rather, didn’t want him to think she cared. Even if he said she should be afraid, even if he said he’d slaughtered without regret, Blue would give him a chance at redemption. She always did, and she always would. It was then Blue decided to ask for his name, a normal enough act, and he responded easily, after wiping all emotion from her features. It was then, however, Blue noted that it was back. That dark glint; the danger. His expression spoke of past sins, and dark deeds. Blue watched him, her expression unchanging, as if completely unmoved by the change within the brute beside her. Her hackles didn’t raise, her tail didn’t tuck under her small body. Blue stayed completely neutral. “Eclipse.” She said softly, more to herself then anything. The female repeated the name mentally a few times, as if insuring she would remember it. “It’s a pleasure.” She said with a small, barely existent smile. the time for introducing was practically over, though Blue felt the need to say such things, anyways. She couldn’t help it; it was her nature. It was then though, curiosity burned within her again; a fire, refusing to be put out. “You say you’re the former alpha.” She spoke slowly, her tone calculating, thinking. “You’re not the alpha any longer?” She asked slowly, dragging her gaze back up to his. She wasn’t entirely surprised, though wondered why he’d lost the title. Lost, or maybe even given up. Blue sighed, the sound light and barely audible, before focusing on walking alongside him once more. Without thought, without voice, without a soul, Don't let me die here. There must be something more, Bring me to life... Words: 1, 203 Muse: Alright Notes: So sorry! I didn't have time to proof it! D: If it fails, I apologize. Blue's words caused him to stop in his pteracks, staring intently at her. What, in the name of all that was sane and good in the world, was wrong with her? She obviously wasn't stupid, she worked out his position. His accursed part in the world.
"I gave my sister, Shadow, control of the Tribe, after my father died. I never wanted to be Alpha. I wanted to travel the land, to do whatever I wanted, when I wanted, without having all my decisions affecting others," He said, holding his commanding stance. What he had to say now was important, and he was certain she would run once it was said.
"Yes, I am dangerous. Yes, I am a liar. And yes, I am a killer. Wolves know me as the Father's Son. Mothers warn their pups into good behavior, or else the Father's Son will steal them away in their sleep. I'm a monster. Others know this, and they fear it," He growled, seething now, not really at the fae, but at the way she made him feel guilty, like this wasn't his path in life, his destiny.
His claws dug into the earth, as if they where trying to tie him down, stop him from attacking the fae like he so much wanted to. But he didn't want to. He wanted to protecter. He wanted to kill her. He quickly turned away, contenuing his walk towards the Tribe of Darkness' territory with revived spirit. Then he stopped again, looking towards Blue, aware that his eyes where still that of a killer. "Are you afraid?"

Blue
How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core, Where I've become so numb. Without a soul, my spirit sleeping somewhere cold, Until you find it there and lead it back home...

.xXx. Blue could sense that, clearly, she’d hit some sort of hidden nerve. The brute beside her came to a quick and abrupt halt at her words, staring her as if she was the strangest creature he’d ever seen. Blue tended to get that general expression often, the startling realization she had figured something out about someone. Little did most know, Blue was far more intelligent than one may observe. She was intent to observe her surroundings, and was quite happy to learn things about others. She would pick and prod into other’s expressions, putting their character together as best she could, while give no information about herself in the process. It was how she protected herself, from all the cruelness within the harsh world. Blue had been hurt before; she wasn’t stupid enough to allow that to happen once again. The ebony’s females ears swivelled towards Eclipse once again as he spoke, his words being understood almost instantly. Blue could understand where he was coming from, and in fact, felt somewhat the same way. Would she, give the chance, lead a pack? Well, certainly not. Not unless she had a purpose, a reason; someone to lead it with. Blue’s brow furrowed, at the thought. She didn’t need anyone. Obviously, her mind was trying to panic her. It was then, however, Blue realized what he’d actually mentioned. His father had passed on. Blue lowered her gaze, her oddly blue orbs flickering towards the ground between the two. She picked up their walk further from the forest, in attempt to let the tension flow away. Was his father’s death something that affected him greatly? Blue supposed she would find out. “I’m sorry about your father.” She said softly, her voice nothing more than apologetic. She knew she had no reason to be apologizing, nor would he respect pity, but she knew what it was like to lose those that are close to you. It was then, however, that Eclipse spoke again. This is what she had been waiting for. She wanted to know him entirely, and he seemed to be making no attempts to hide himself from her. She kept her eyes firmly on the ground before her as she walked, focusing on moving fluidly, as he said he was a killer. That had been where the obvious darkness had come from. Blue sighed, just slightly, before paying attention to the rest of his speech. Blue cast a discreet glance towards him, just briefly, to note the guilt within his features. He seemed angry, for feeling guilty? Blue figured for one that had taken lives, it would only be natural. Blue forced herself to resist the overwhelming urge to comfort him.
She was not his friend. She was not his lover. She was no one, and thus should definitely not attempt to comfort him. Blue looked ahead of her again with a small sigh. She could literally feel the tension he was carrying; the aggression in which he felt towards her. It was contradicted, though, by his expression. Blue couldn’t tell if he would attempt to kill her, or not, at that particular moment. And then he stopped, and spoke. And Blue smiled. An odd thing for the female to do, maybe, although the thought didn’t occur to her. She watched him for moments on end, letting him calm down with the silence, while gracing him with the oddly soft smile. It was certainly on the verge of showing emotion, though Blue realized that now, when he was in such a bad place, maybe it was all the male needed. She waited until she was entirely sure he would be calm enough, before tilting her head, just slightly. Her expression was soft, full of understanding, and entirely accepting. She didn’t judge. Blue never did. “No.” Blue answered his question easily, her smile feeling oddly good amongst her lips. She exhaled, before walking past him, towards where they had been heading, and stopping to look over her shoulder at him. Her blue eyes were full of soft accomplishment, as if she’d just conquered a huge barrier, and was too humble to admit it. “You haven’t given me a reason to fear you, Eclipse.” Blue spoke slowly, still looking at him over her shoulder. She flicked her tail, a discreetly flirtatious action, without even bothering to notice. She was becoming dangerously comfortable around this male, and wasn’t even realizing it. “You’ve shown me anger, danger, and aggression. And yet, I’m still standing here, perfectly unscathed. I trust you.” Blue spoke the last two words lightly, too afraid of their true, deep meaning. She didn’t mean it on a deep level, like that. But she could pretend to. Without thought, without voice, without a soul, Don't let me die here. There must be something more, Bring me to life... Words: 845 Muse: FAIL! Notes: SO SORRY, I DIDN'T PROOF IT. IF IT'S OVERLY RETARDED, LEMME KNOW AND I WILL PROOF IT TOMORROWHDUISOAHDISADHSA. [/blockquote] [/sub][/blockquote]

Eclipse's form was rigid, but he was inwardly confused. After what he just told her, why wouldn't she fear him, why would she trust him? Why? It made no sense to him, who was born into a world of hatred and battle, his sole purpose in his life was to be a coldblooded killer. So it puzzled him that another creature would show such a kindness to him, for to him, this was an extreme kindness. To remain unfearedf by one creature, to him, was to be seen for a true wolf, and not some senseless monster, as so many believed he was.
He began to move again, slowly and mechanically, still trying to wrap his mind around it. How could one show kindness to a known murderer? He still could not figure it out, but he knew that this fae was special. Even more so than Shadow, but in a different way. Shadow was special in the way where she could take care of herself, and control the destiny of many. Blue, however... She was one to be protected, a precious stone, perhaps. There was something else there also, but he could not put his paw on it quite yet.
"Then you are a fool, Blue. I am not one who can be trusted," He said, silently giving up. Why argue, it was clear she was not going to give up. Was it safe for her to follow him, though? He was, after all, walking straight into the lioness' den. It was impossible to tell if Shadow would tolerate Blue or not. It was just as likely for her to keep Blue prisioner as it was for her to kill her. So, Eclipse speed his pace, whirling around in front of Blue and stopping.
"So, are you going to just follow me all the way to the Swamp Territory?" He asked, watching her carefully. If she wanted to go, he wouldn't stop her. It would be good to have accepting company, besides the battle-hungry wolves of the swamp. THen again, she might just be swallowed up by the harshness of the swamp. Either way, the choice was hers, but he could not quell the hope in his heart that she would come.
